“ Genuinely good food and people. The cashiers are always so friendly and helpful when ordering. Some of my favorites are the beans, the salmon sub, the grilled vegetables, lentil soup, and the pomegranate grape fresh juice....ummm like everything is sooo good. So many healthy choices, great portions, and open late. ”

“ Wow, this gem of a place was an unexpected and pleasant find when I had to stop by quickly somewhere for a bite of food on the way home! Ambiance-wise - There was no one in the store and glass shields up completely dividing the cashier/kitchen from the customers. Food and cash were exchanged between a rotating window and 2-way cash drawer. I ordered a chicken shawarma and tried the Boostan special tea for my meal. The cashier was so friendly and even offered to let me sample a cup before committing to it since I've never had it before and was wondering what it tasted like. The flavors were bomb, and everything was affordable. I was also eye-ing the chicken cream chops which I hope to try next time. Thanks for the wonderful and tasty meal! ”
“ The service was amazing. I had an issue with my restaurant.com I bought through Groupon but they were very patient and understanding. Both the Hamtramck location and the 6 mile one. My fiancé got the shawarma combo and I got the deboned chicken dark(half) and mine is amazing!!! Lemon oregano flavor. When I took the carry the bags weighed a ton! Very large portions. I will say a little more pita but other than that outstanding. After my groupon/restaurant.com issues I gave them a tip and the young gentleman behind the counter tried to refuse and apologized but I insisted. Will be back again! ”
“ I was a big fan of the food here. I ordered in the store, and received my meal within ten minutes. The Boostan Chicken Shawarma Sandwich had crispy onions and lettuce with well-seasoned chicken with a delicious sauce. The fresh mango smoothie was also good. (They even have mangoes decorating the inside of the store!) The restaurant was clean and well-lit, and it has about seven seats, but no other sit-down customers while I was there (8pm on a Tuesday in dead of winter). Many people came in for takeout. It's not the dining experience you'd find in downtown Detroit or Midtown or anything, but the meal was great and I would order from here again. ”

“ A hidden gem in Detroit. I ordered carryout from here. I had a pretty large order -chicken shawarma wrap, chicken shawarma salad, burger, 3 orders or fries, side veggies, and sides of garlic sauce. (And total was only $36!) First, the order was all correct and the staff friendly. Especially with Covid, I'm huge on cleanliness and won't return to a place if it's not clean or the staff unmasked. This restaurant was very clean and you can see the kitchen, and staff were properly masked and the cook had on gloves. The chicken for the salad came on the side, which I appreciated so it didn't make the salad soggy. Everything looked and tasted very fresh. The chicken was very moist. Portions are big too. The order of fries was much more than I expected. The side veggies were an awesome assortment of fresh grilled carrots, zucchini, and onion. Next time I'll try the juice they make on site. I also recommend getting the garlic sauce sides (it's very garlicky which I like) it was great on my chicken in the salad and on fries. ”
